A few words about our fabrics.

Entrant
What is Entrant? Entrant is a microporous coating at the backside
of the shell fabric that is waterproof, moisture permeable and
windproof. Entrant features a unique honeycomb structure and
microporous coating that "breathes" to efficiently
transmit vapour from the body to the fabric's exterior. Using
Entrant jackets you will stay dry and comfortable in any weather.
The exterior of the fabric is coated with a water-repellent finish
that makes water bead and roll off.
Entrant is waterproof! Because the water drops are too big to penetrate
the micropores. Entrant lasts! Because the coating penetrates
the fabric deeply, the coating and the fabric become one, eliminating
delamination worries. Entrant breathes! Because perspiration
vapour is smaller than the micropores, it easily passes through
the coating. |
Dermizax
The Dermizax laminate is a non-porous waterproof membrane laminate.
This prevents clogging when exposed to seawater and perspiration,
as well as numerous washing cycles, to ensure long-lasting performance
qualities. The Dermizax membrane is ultra thin and uses the membrane's
polymer molecule movement to efficiently absorb perspiration
vapour build-up on the fabric's inner layer. The vapor is then
dispersed throughout the fabric so that it can quickly escape
and evaporate. When the bearers body heat warms the waterproof
Dermizax laminate, the linking molecules of the polymer material
becomes more relaxed in structure. This results in an increased
flow of water vapour molecules through the laminate and outer
fabric. Breathability simply increases. The molecular structure
of the laminate responds to your level of activity, so when you
are active breathability is maximised and you stay dry, but when
you are inactive breathability is low which keeps the heat in,
and you warm. The fabric is very soft and smooth thanks to that
the membrane is ultra thin. An additional advantage of Dermizax
is that it's stretchable which reduces any delamination problem
after strenuous activity. |
Majo tech, Breathe
Breathe is a special hydrophilic finish resulting from years
of research and testing. It guarantees total impermiability to
water and wind, while simultaneously allowing perfect transpiration.
Its technical characteristics make it extremely comfortable to
wear even in the worst conditions. An additional advantage of
Breathe is that it can be applied to cotton blended fabrics.
Majo tech fabrics utilise high technology Tactel yarn,
which creates a garment that is strong yet soft, durable but
light, and which combines performance and aesthetics with easy
care and comfort. |
Entrant and
Dermizax care instructions.
|
Wash in water below 30°C.
Do not use bleach. Hand wash or only use a consumer-washing
machine. Rinse thoroughly and drip dry in shade.
Iron with a cool iron and place a piece of cloth between iron
and garment. Use mild, organic solvents to clean soiled
areas prior to washing. To retain maximum waterproof and
moisture permeable performance, rinse in warm water (up to 30°C)
to remove all traces of detergent/soap. Wash after prolonged
exposure to salt water to remove traces of salt.
Why Ironing? Ironing reactivates the water-repellent coating
at the outside of the shell fabric. |
